Martin Harris Farm Church History Trip

In 1813, Martin Harris acquired 320 acres of his father's farm (at age 30). This farm was mortgaged to help pay for the first printing of the Book of Mormon. An 1850 lake-stone Erie Canal house now stands on the property. Martin Harris was one of Joseph Smith Junior's first scribes when translating the Book of Mormon.
